Precision and compactness
- Optimized for maximum accuracy
- Fine boring with tool compensation
- Machining of cylindrical, trumpet-shaped and oval bores
- Machine bed solidly filled with concrete
The AF 400 (and ACF as a special solution) connecting rod machines are specialized in intermediate machining and fine machining, whereby each machine is optimally designed for the respective requirement profile. High-precision assemblies are therefore only used where they are required.
- Highest precision due to feed axes not lying on top of each other
- No protruding masses thanks to compact axle arrangement
- Oval and trumpet-shaped bores with freely programmable geometry
- Simple, scalable increase in production
- Hydrostatic spindles with high precision, rigidity and damping
- Optionally with more cost-effective spindles with roller bearings
- Up to 4 devices can be mounted at the same time for short changeover times
- Directly driven, NC-programmable main spindles
- High thermal stability
- High user-friendliness
- Very good accessibility for maintenance and tool changes
- Small space requirement in area and height
Clamping device
The clamping device can be swiveled around the A-axis and can be moved linearly in the Y-direction. It can be changed over quickly and allows a freely programmable clamping sequence in the NC program. Thanks to high variant flexibility, it is possible to machine different workpiece types quickly, easily and cost-effectively on the machine. Thanks to the clamping cube concept, up to 4 different workpiece types can be machined without retooling.
Fine boring spindles
All main spindles of the AF 400 have hydrostatic bearings, spindles with roller bearings and direct drive, which prevents the vibration problems that occur with conventional belt drives. The NC control allows the speed of each spindle to be individually adjusted and the radial positions of the tool cutting edges to be defined and corrected.
